  • Managing the body of the DCEEC organization, consisting of the Co-Presidents, Treasurer, Secretary and all the Committee Chairs
  • Developing strategic planning
  • Oversight of committee budgets
  • Discussing major policies, procedures and constitutional changes, and making recommendations to the general membership for final decision
  • Collaboration: Increasing membership/partnerships to include local, national government, and businesses/corporations

  • Organizing and implementing Point of Contact (P.O.C.) mailings through DCPS
  • Developing and distributing DCEEC marketing items and promotional materials
  • Compiling DC Naturally handbook, to be posted on DCEEC website
  • Compiling DCEEC media-list

Schoolyard Greening Committee

  • Organizing DC School Garden Week, an annual celebration increasing awareness of school gardens and greening efforts at D.C. schools; includes an annual Fall Schoolyard Bus Tour
  • Organizing a spring professional development multi-day workshop for teachers

Ways & Means Committee
